Nothing really important to say today. I'm looking forward to a short but sweet weekend.

Thank God summer is here. I just wanted to comment that I hope gas prices sore in the US. I realize the negative impact it will have on the wallets of friends, family and myself; however, i think it's the only way the American people will start to demand more from our government.

We elect officials--along party lines--and give the free reign to ignore the needs of American people and submit to the will of lobyist.

Life is what you make it

I am a firm believer that life is what you make it. My purpose behind this statement is not to negate the pain and suffering of others. All I’m saying is if you go through life expecting disappointment at best you will feel the occasional feeling of relief.

Personally, I think it’s much better to enjoy the moment, appreciate the pleasant surprises (no matter how small) and hope for a better tomorrow.
